     From 1985, her married name became Mackenzie.1 After her marriage, Janet Clare Harley was styled as Countess of Cromartie on 13 December 1989.

George Rowland Stanley Baring, 3rd Earl of Cromer and Hon. Esmé Mary Gabrielle Harmsworth, on 25 October 1971.2 She and Evelyn Rowland Esmond Baring, 4th Earl of Cromer were divorced in 1992.1
