     Sir Cecil Gustavus Jacques Newman, 2nd Bt. was born on 9 June 1891.¹ He is the son of Sir Sigmund Neumann, 1st Bt. and Anna Allegra Hakim.² He married Joan Florence Mary Grimston, daughter of Rev. Hon. Robert Grimston and Gertrude Mary Amelia Villiers, on 31 January 1922.¹ He died on 21 May 1955 at age 63.¹
     He was given the name of Cecil Gustavus Jacques Neumann at birth.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1911 in the 1st Norfolk Yeomanry.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Neumann, of Cecil Lodge, Newmarket, co. Cambridge [U.K., 1912] on 13 September 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Staff Captain in 1917.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.¹ On 23 January 1936 his name was legally changed to Cecil Gustavus Jacques Newman by Royal Licence.¹ He was director of Woodcote Grove and Haling Down Estates.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1939.¹ He was President of the National Association of Fishery Board between 1946 and 1951.¹

     Patricia R. Carruthers was born in 1928 at Woolwich, Kent, England. She is the daughter of Hughe Warde Carruthers and Yolande Elsie (?)¹ She married Charles Richard Woosnam, son of Ralph William Woosnam and Kathleen Mary Evan-Thomas, in 1950 at Surrey, England.¹
     From 1950, her married name became Woosnam.¹

     Alfred Swann married Katharine Nona Abraham, daughter of Rt. Rev. Charles Thomas Abraham and Mary Theresa Furse, in 1923 at Burton, Sussex, England.¹

     Christopher Croudace Maud was born on 26 August 1897.² He was the son of Rt. Rev. John Primatt Maud and Elizabeth Diana Furse.¹ He died on 10 April 1911 at age 13.²

     Nicholas Hyde was born in July 1603 at Dinton, Wiltshire, England.¹ He was the son of Sir Nicholas Hyde and Mary Swayne.¹ He died in 1623.²

     Arthur Swayne lived at Sarson, Amport, Hampshire, England.¹

     Barbara Castillion is the daughter of John Baptista Castillion.¹ She married Sir Lawrence Hyde, son of Lawrence Hyde and Anne Sybill.¹
     Her married name became Hyde.¹

     James William Edgedale was born on 14 January 1963.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. William Richard Edgedale and Mary Ella Newman.² He married Sarah Louise Jenkinson in 1993.¹
