     Napier George Henry Sturt, 3rd Baron Alington of Crichel was born on 1 November 1896.¹ He was the son of Humphrey Napier Sturt, 2nd Baron Alington of Crichel and Lady Feodorowna Yorke.¹ He married Lady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper, daughter of Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 9th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Constance Sibell Grosvenor, on 27 November 1928.¹ He died on 17 September 1940 at age 43, without male issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Alington of Crichel, Dorset [U.K., 1876] on 30 July 1919.¹
     On his death, the Baron Alington of Crichel became extinct.

     Lady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper was born on 3 October 1902.² She was the daughter of Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 9th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Constance Sibell Grosvenor.^1,2 She married Napier George Henry Sturt, 3rd Baron Alington of Crichel, son of Humphrey Napier Sturt, 2nd Baron Alington of Crichel and Lady Feodorowna Yorke, on 27 November 1928.¹ She died on 2 August 1936 at age 33.²
     From 27 November 1928, her married name became Sturt. After her marriage, Lady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper was styled as Baroness Alington of Crichel on 27 November 1928.

     Hon. Mary Anna Sibell Elizabeth Sturt was born on 12 September 1929.² She was the daughter of Napier George Henry Sturt, 3rd Baron Alington of Crichel and Lady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. George Gosselin Marten, son of Vice-Admiral Sir Francis Arthur Marten, on 25 November 1949.^3,4 She died on 18 January 2010 at age 80 at Crichel, Wimborne, Dorset, England^G.⁵
     From 25 November 1949, her married name became Marten.³ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1980.² She held the office of Hugh Sheriff of Dorset in 1989.² She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset in 1989.²

     From after 1943, her married name became Lubbock.¹

     Hon. Diana Isabel Sturt was born on 3 April 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Humphrey Napier Sturt, 2nd Baron Alington of Crichel and Lady Feodorowna Yorke.¹ She married Hon. Henry Brougham, son of Henry Charles Brougham, 3rd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Adora Frances Olga Wells, on 13 July 1908 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ She and Hon. Henry Brougham were divorced in 1919.²
     From 13 July 1908, her married name became Brougham. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.³

     Hon. Henry Brougham was born on 26 May 1887.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles Brougham, 3rd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Adora Frances Olga Wells.^1,2 He married, firstly, Hon. Diana Isabel Sturt, daughter of Humphrey Napier Sturt, 2nd Baron Alington of Crichel and Lady Feodorowna Yorke, on 13 July 1908 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ He and Hon. Diana Isabel Sturt were divorced in 1919.³ He married, secondly, unknown Baronin Hengelmüller von Hengervar, daughter of unknown Baron Hengelmüller von Hengervar, on 24 April 1923.⁴ He died on 4 May 1927 at age 39.³

     Henry Charles Brougham, 3rd Baron Brougham and Vaux was born on 2 September 1836.¹ He was the son of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor.¹ He married Adora Frances Olga Wells, daughter of Peter Wells and Adora Julia Lethbridge, on 18 April 1882 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ He died on 24 May 1927 at age 90 at 36 Chesham Place, London, England^G, suddenly.¹
