Alexander Irvine, 7th of Drum1 
On 10 September 1499 he had a charter of lands of Forglen from his father.2 In 1552 he resigned Drum and all his lands to the Crown in for regrant in favour of his grandson 12 February 1553/4.2

In 1475 he received Lonmay and Cairness from his father.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Aberdeen in 1492.2 On 26 February 1506 he had a charter for Drum from King James IV.2

Alexander Irvine, 5th of Drum1 
On 3 November 1457 he was served heir to his grandfather.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Aberdeenshire in 1471.2 As Sheriff of Aberdeenshire he attacked the house of Sir Walter Lindsay of Bewfort with a force of men, for which offence, by judgment of the Lords of the Council, he was dismissed from that office and ordered to suffer imprisonment, though this was not necessarily effected.2
