Sir Archibald Woollaston White, 4th Bt. was born on 14 October 1877.2 He was the son of William Knight Hamilton Ramsay White and Edith Laura Paris.3 He married Gladys Becher Love Pitman, daughter of Reverend Edward Augustus Bracken Pitman and Nora Frederica Walker, on 12 August 1903.2 He died on 16 December 1945 at age 68.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Yorkshire Royal Garrison Artillery (Mounted.)2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet White, of Wallingwells, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1802] on 20 May 1907.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery.2
