     Mary Chearnley was born on 8 May 1765 at Cappoquin, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ She married John Grove White, son of James White and Sarah Garde, on 27 January 1791 at Lismore, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹ She died in 1836.¹

     He was commissioned on 1 January 1928 with the rank of Cadet, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 16 April 1934.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1943.² He gained the rank of Commander on 31 December 1947.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 30 June 1953.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1963.²

     Harold Reginald Smith Shires was born in June 1885 at York, Yorkshire, England^G.^2,4,5 He was the son of Benjamin Priestley Shires and Annie Smith.⁵ He married Violet Lillian Ernestine Campbell White, daughter of John Richard White and Mary Campbell Ricketts Alder, on 25 April 1916 at Plymouth, Devon, England^G.^3,5 He died in 1960 at Surrey, England^G.^1,5

     Thomas Jennens was born circa 1560.¹ He was the son of William Jennens and Joanna Elliott.¹ He died circa 1616.¹
