     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Honorary Canon of St. Albans.¹ He was Chaplain to the Bishop of St. Albans in 1928.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Marsden lived at Chelmorton, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Cedar Court, Farnham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Audrey Katharine Marsden was born circa 1876.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Marsden.² She married Reverend Frederick Halsey, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Thomas Frederick Halsey, 1st Bt. and Mary Julia Wells, on 27 July 1901.¹ She died on 14 January 1969.¹
     From 27 July 1901, her married name became Halsey.

     Patrick Johnston Halsey was born on 17 February 1905.¹ He was the son of Reverend Frederick Halsey and Audrey Katharine Marsden.² He died on 22 October 1988 at age 83.¹
