     Sir Andrew Iain Ochoncar Forbes, 13th Bt. was born on 28 November 1945.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Patrick Walter Forbes and Margaret Hawthorne Lydall.² He married Jane Elizabeth Dunbar-Nasmith, daughter of Rear-Admiral David Arthur Dunbar-Nasmith and Elizabeth Gwendoline Bowlby, in 1984.³ He died on 8 March 2023 at age 77.⁴
     He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Gordon Highlanders.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Forbes, of Craigievar [N.S., 1630] in 2000. He lived in 2003 at 12 Denham Green Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Mhairi Margaret Forbes was born on 26 June 1942.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Patrick Walter Forbes and Margaret Hawthorne Lydall.²
     She was with World Organisation for Intellectual Property, U.N.¹

     Shelagh Ann Forbes was born on 20 February 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Patrick Walter Forbes and Margaret Hawthorne Lydall.²
     She was with J & H International.¹ She lived in 2003 at 1 Rosay Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     David Ochoncar Forbes was born on 2 January 1917.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. James Ochoncar Forbes and Nora Maude Abercromby.²

     Hon. Elizabeth Forbes was born on 19 June 1826.² She was the daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes.³ She was baptised on 1 August 1826 at Fintray, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She married Robert Grant of Druminnor on 25 July 1854.¹ She died on 29 December 1890 at age 64.¹
     From 25 July 1854, her married name became Grant. On 14 April 1887 she was granted the rank of a Lord of Parliament’s daughter.¹

     Robert Grant of Druminnor was born circa 1805 at Winchelsea, Sussex, England^G.² He married Hon. Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes, on 25 July 1854.³ He died on 1 January 1894.²

     Hon. Sarah Forbes was born on 23 December 1827.² She was the daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes.³ She was baptised on 4 March 1828 at Fintray, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She married Duncan Forbes, son of Alexander Forbes and Janet Forbes, on 14 April 1852.³ She died on 6 October 1891 at age 63.³
     On 14 April 1887 she was granted the rank of a Lord of Parliament’s daughter.¹

     Hon. Caroline Ann Forbes was born on 13 March 1832.² She was the daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes.³ She was baptised on 8 May 1832 at Fintray, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She married Reverend Frederick Walter Robberds on 11 June 1862.¹ She died on 19 March 1896 at age 64.¹
     From 11 June 1862, her married name became Robberds. On 14 April 1887 she was granted the rank of a Lord of Parliament’s daughter.¹

     Reverend Frederick Walter Robberds married Hon. Caroline Ann Forbes, daughter of Sir John Forbes of Craigievar, 7th Bt. and Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Forbes, on 11 June 1862.¹ He died on 30 April 1898.²
     He was Rector at Salford, Bristol, England.²
