     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.) in 1984.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1987.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Green Jackets (V.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1995.¹ He gained the rank of Deputy Honorary Colonel in 1996 in the (Hertfordshire) Royal Anglian Regiment (Territorial Army.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hertfordshire in 1998.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Golden Parsonage, Gaddesden Row, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     George Frederick Peel was born on 28 January 1921.¹ He was the son of Major Hon. Arthur George Villiers Peel and Lady Agnes Lygon.¹ He married Eliazbeth Mary Coker, daughter of John Vickers Coker, on 26 July 1960.¹ He died on 24 October 1996 at age 75.¹

     Viola Georgina Juliet Thorne was born on 20 September 1948.² She is the daughter of Major George Thorne and Juliet Agnes Peel.² She married Nicholas Guy Halsey, son of Lt.-Col. Guy Marsden Halsey and Mary Juliet Gough Arbuthnot, on 7 August 1976.¹
     From 7 August 1976, her married name became Halsey. She lived in 2003 at The Golden Parsonage, Great Gaddesden Row, Hertfordshire, England.²

     Guy Francis Johnston Halsey was born on 4 October 1981.¹ He is the son of Nicholas Guy Halsey and Viola Georgina Juliet Thorne.²

     Robert Frederick Halsey was born on 13 February 1950.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Guy Marsden Halsey and Mary Juliet Gough Arbuthnot.² He married Elizabeth Virginia Holman, daughter of John Trevena Holman and Virginia Kathleen Gwavas Carlyon, on 2 October 1976.¹
     Robert Frederick Halsey also went by the nick-name of Robin.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.)¹

     John Trevena Holman married Virginia Kathleen Gwavas Carlyon, daughter of Ernest Tristrem Rupert Carlyon, on 16 November 1946.²

     Elizabeth Virginia Holman is the daughter of John Trevena Holman and Virginia Kathleen Gwavas Carlyon.^2,3 She married Robert Frederick Halsey, son of Lt.-Col. Guy Marsden Halsey and Mary Juliet Gough Arbuthnot, on 2 October 1976.¹
     From 2 October 1976, her married name became Halsey.

     Daniel John Halsey was born on 26 December 1978.¹ He is the son of Robert Frederick Halsey and Elizabeth Virginia Holman.²

     Samuel Treve Halsey was born on 16 March 1983.¹ He is the son of Robert Frederick Halsey and Elizabeth Virginia Holman.²

     Katharine Audrey Halsey was born on 23 April 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Frederick Halsey and Audrey Katharine Marsden.² She died on 22 March 2002 at age 94.¹
