     John Morison, 9th of Bognie and Mountblairy was born in 1812.¹ He was the son of James Morison and Anne Victorie de la Marre.¹ He married Mary Jane Weatherall, daughter of Thomas Weatherall, in 1840.¹ He died in 1886.
     He had a younger son and two daughters.¹

     Mary Jane Weatherall was the daughter of Thomas Weatherall.¹ She married John Morison, 9th of Bognie and Mountblairy, son of James Morison and Anne Victorie de la Marre, in 1840.¹ She died on 11 August 1910.¹
     From 1840, her married name became Morison.¹

     Thomas Weatherall was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹

     Lt.-Col. Frederick de la Marre Morison, 10th of Bognie and Mountblairy was born on 17 October 1842.¹ He was the son of John Morison, 9th of Bognie and Mountblairy and Mary Jane Weatherall.¹ He married, firstly, Janet Forbes Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon and Sarah Forbes, in 1869.¹ He married, secondly, Elsie Mair in 1892.¹ He died on 24 July 1911 at age 68.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1900 in the Royal Scots Lothian Regiment.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Aberdeenshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Banffshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banffshire.¹

     Janet Forbes Gordon was baptised on 24 February 1845 at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Alexander Gordon and Sarah Forbes.^1,3 She married Lt.-Col. Frederick de la Marre Morison, 10th of Bognie and Mountblairy, son of John Morison, 9th of Bognie and Mountblairy and Mary Jane Weatherall, in 1869.¹ She died in 1889 at Farnham, Surrey, England.²
     From 1869, her married name became Morison.¹

     Alexander Gordon married Sarah Forbes, daughter of Alexander Forbes and Janet Forbes, on 20 February 1844.² He died on 8 August 1868.²
     He lived at Newton, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Aberdeenshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Aberdeenshire.¹

     Elsie Mair married Lt.-Col. Frederick de la Marre Morison, 10th of Bognie and Mountblairy, son of John Morison, 9th of Bognie and Mountblairy and Mary Jane Weatherall, in 1892.¹ She died on 11 February 1931.¹
     From 1892, her married name became Morison.¹

     Alexander Edward Forbes Morison, 11th of Bognie and Mountblairy was born on 29 November 1874.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frederick de la Marre Morison, 10th of Bognie and Mountblairy and Janet Forbes Gordon.¹ He married Clementina Graham Stuart, daughter of Alexander Stuart of Inchbreck, on 24 February 1897.¹ He died in 1932.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Banffshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banffshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Aberdeenshire.¹

     Clementina Graham Stuart was born in January 1875.² She was the daughter of Alexander Stuart of Inchbreck.¹ She married Alexander Edward Forbes Morison, 11th of Bognie and Mountblairy, son of Lt.-Col. Frederick de la Marre Morison, 10th of Bognie and Mountblairy and Janet Forbes Gordon, on 24 February 1897.¹ She died on 28 July 1966 at age 91.²
     From 24 February 1897, her married name became Morison.¹
