Patrick Leslie, 1st Lord Lindores1

Patrick Leslie, 1st Lord Lindores was born in 1557 at Pitcairlie, Newburgh, Fife, Scotland.3 He was the son of Andrew Leslie, 5th Earl of Rothes and Grizel Hamilton.4 He married Lady Jean Stewart, daughter of Robert Stewart, 1st Earl of Orkney and Lady Janet Kennedy, in 1586.1 He died between 22 May 1608 and 5 October 1608.1
He gained the title of 1st Lord Lindores. He held the office of Commendator of Lindores.5
