James Livingston, 5th Earl of Linlithgow1 
He succeeded as the 4th Lord Livingston of Almond [S., 1633] in December 1692.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Callendar, Lord Livingston and Almond [S., 1641] in December 1692.1 On 4 August 1693 he was served heir to his father.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Linlithgow on 7 August 1695.1 In 1715 He joined in the Uprising, and was subsequently attained, and all of his honours forfeit.1

Lady Anne Livingston1

Lady Anne Livingston was the daughter of James Livingston, 5th Earl of Linlithgow and Lady Margaret Hay.1 She married William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock, son of William Boyd, 3rd Earl of Kilmarnock and Euphemia Ross, on 15 June 1724.1 She died on 14 September 1747.1
After her marriage, Lady Anne Livingston was styled as Countess of Kilmarnock on 15 June 1724. From 15 June 1724, her married name became Boyd. In 1746 as a Jacobite, she detained General Fawley at dinner, in order to ensure the victory at Falkirk.1

William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock 
He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Kilmarnock [S., 1661] in September 1717.1 He succeeded as the 13th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock [S., c. 1454] in September 1717.1 He held the office of Grand Master of Masons, Scotland in 1742/43.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Horse Grenadiers, Prince Edwards Army.1 He fought in the Battle of Falkirk on 17 January 1746.1 He fought in the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746, where he was captured.1 He was attainted, so his titles were not inherited by his descendants.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
