He held the office of Comptroller of the Household.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)² He held the office of Chief Gentleman of Privy Chamber.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hertfordshire in 1547.²

     William Walsingham is the son of James Walsingham and Eleanor Writtle.² He married Joice Denny, daughter of Sir Edmund Denny.¹

     John Cary is the son of Thomas Cary.¹

     Edward Cary was the son of Sir George Cary.¹ He married Mary Pelson, daughter of Richard Pelson and Lady Anne Villiers. He died on 15 July 1718.¹

     Sir Edward Cary was the son of John Cary.¹ He died on 14 June 1654.¹

     William Cary was the son of Edward Cary and Mary Pelson.¹ He died on 1 December 1750.¹

     Henry George Cary was born on 5 October 1800.¹ He was the son of John Cary.¹ He died on 2 September 1840 at age 39.¹

     He lived at Stanstead Abbots, hertfordshire, England.²
