     Mary Eleanor Ormiston Lamb was born on 13 December 1899.² She was the daughter of Richard Scott Lamb and Eleanor Maud Vernon Cuppage.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hugo Graham de Burgh, son of Hugo Henry Patrick de Burgh and Mabel Patty Beaumont, on 13 June 1917.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Hugo Graham de Burgh were divorced in 1942.³
     From 13 June 1917, her married name became de Burgh.¹
