Sir John Baker was born circa 1487.2 He was the son of Richard Baker.2 He married, firstly, Katherine Sackville, daughter of Richard Sackville, circa 1523.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Dineley, daughter of Thomas Dineley, before 1530.2 He died on 23 December 1558.3 His will was proven (by probate) on 30 January 1558/59.2
