     Caroline Stern was born in 1782.² She was the daughter of unknown Stern.² She married Salomon Mayer Rothschild, son of Mayer Amschel Rothschild and Gutle Schnapper, in 1800.¹ She died in 1854.¹
     From 1800, her married name became Rothschild.¹

     Anselm Salomon Rothschild was born in 1803.¹ He was the son of Salomon Mayer Rothschild and Caroline Stern.² He married Charlotte Rothschild, daughter of Nathan Mayer Rothschild and Hannah Cohen, in 1826.¹ He died in 1874.¹
     He lived at Vienna, Austria^G.²

     Charlotte Rothschild was the daughter of Nathan Mayer Rothschild and Hannah Cohen.² She married Anselm Salomon Rothschild, son of Salomon Mayer Rothschild and Caroline Stern, in 1826.¹ She died on 17 May 1859.²

     Mayer Anselm Leon Rothschild was born in 1827.¹ He was the son of Anselm Salomon Rothschild and Charlotte Rothschild.²

     Nathaniel Mayer Rothschild was born in 1836.¹ He was the son of Anselm Salomon Rothschild and Charlotte Rothschild.² He died in 1905.¹

     Ferdinand James Anselm Rothschild was born in 1839.¹ He was the son of Anselm Salomon Rothschild and Charlotte Rothschild.² He married Evelina de Rothschild, daughter of Baron Lionel Nathan de Rothschild and Charlotte de Rothschild, on 7 June 1865.² He died on 17 December 1898.¹

     Joseph Mayer Montefiore was born on 16 May 1816.² He was the son of Sir Abraham Montefiore and Henriette Rothschild.^1,2 He married Henrietta Francisca Sichel, daughter of S. B. Sichel, on 1 February 1860.² He died on 9 October 1880 at age 64.²
