     Marianne von Gutmann is the daughter of Wilhelm Ritter von Gutmann and Ida Wodlaner.^1,2 She married Sir Francis Montefiore, 1st and last Bt., son of Joseph Mayer Montefiore and Henrietta Francisca Sichel, on 14 August 1888.¹
     From 14 August 1888, her married name became Montefiore.¹

     Elizabeth Hanar Cobbe is the daughter of Hugh Michael Thomas Cobbe.¹ She married Walter John Francis Montagu Douglas Scott, Earl of Dalkeith, son of Richard Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 10th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Elizabeth Marion Frances Kerr, in 2014.¹
     From 2014, her married name became Montagu Douglas Scott.¹

     Edward Mayer Montefiore was born on 16 April 1862.¹ He was the son of Joseph Mayer Montefiore and Henrietta Francisca Sichel.¹ He died on 1 May 1927 at age 65, unmarried.¹

     Nathaniel Montefiore was born on 24 September 1819 at Brighton, Sussex, England.¹ He was the son of Sir Abraham Montefiore and Henriette Rothschild.¹ He married Emma Goldsmid, daughter of Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid, 1st Bt. and Isabel Beila Goldsmid, on 7 May 1850 at London, England.¹ He died on 28 March 1883 at age 63 at 18 Portman Square, London, England.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at 18 Portman Square, London, England^G.¹ He lived at Coldeast, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Emma Goldsmid was born in 1820 at Wandsworth, London, England.² She was the daughter of Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid, 1st Bt. and Isabel Beila Goldsmid.^1,2 She married Nathaniel Montefiore, son of Sir Abraham Montefiore and Henriette Rothschild, on 7 May 1850 at London, England.¹ She died on 13 April 1902.¹
     From 7 May 1850, her married name became Montefiore.¹

     Leonard Montefiore was born in 1853.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Montefiore and Emma Goldsmid.¹ He died on 6 September 1879, unmarried.¹

     Claude Joseph Goldsmid Montefiore was born in 1858.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Montefiore and Emma Goldsmid.¹ He married, firstly, Thérèse Alice Schorstein, daughter of Lazar Schorstein, on 12 October 1886.¹ He married, secondly, Florence Fyfe Brereton Ward, daughter of Richard James Ward, on 24 July 1902.¹ He died on 9 July 1938.¹
     He was given the name of Claude Joseph Montefiore at birth.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ On 22 February 1883 his name was legally changed to Claude Joseph Goldsmid Montefiore by Royal Licence.¹ He was president of the Anglo-Jewish Association between 1896 and 1921.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) by Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of President of University College of Southampton between 1915 and 1934.¹

     Thérèse Alice Schorstein was the daughter of Lazar Schorstein.¹ She married Claude Joseph Goldsmid Montefiore, son of Nathaniel Montefiore and Emma Goldsmid, on 12 October 1886.¹ She died on 10 June 1889.¹
     From 12 October 1886, her married name became Goldsmid Montefiore.¹
