Peerage Record – 1548

     Anne Price was the daughter of Colonel Barrington Price and Lady Maria Jane Bowes.¹ She married, firstly, John Lyon, son of Hon. Thomas Lyon and Mary Elizabeth Wren, on 3 February 1812.¹ She married, secondly, Lieutenant John William Oldmixon in 1830.¹
     From 3 February 1812, her married name became Lyon. From 1830, her married name became Oldmixon.

     Reverend Henry George Liddell was born in 1787.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry George Liddell, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Steele.¹ He married Charlotte Lyon, daughter of Hon. Thomas Lyon and Mary Elizabeth Wren, on 11 November 1809.¹ He died on 9 March 1872.¹
     He was the Rector at Easington, England^G.¹

     Lady Susan Lyon was the daughter of Thomas Lyon, 8th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Jean Nicholson.^1,2 She married General John Lambton, son of Ralph Lambton and Dorothy Hedworth, on 5 September 1763.¹ She died on 26 February 1769.¹
     Her married name became Lambton.

     Lady Anne Lyon was the daughter of Thomas Lyon, 8th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Jean Nicholson.¹ She married John Simpson, son of Reverend John Simpson and Elizabeth Stringer, on 15 July 1768. She died on 20 March 1821.² She was buried at St. Katherine’s Church, Merstham, Surrey, England^G.²
     Her married name became Simpson.

     Lady Mary Lyon was born circa 1749.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Lyon, 8th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Jean Nicholson.¹ She died on 22 May 1767, unmarried.¹

     Lady Jane Lyon was the daughter of Thomas Lyon, 8th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Jean Nicholson.¹ She died on 22 August 1836, unmarried.¹

     Lady Maria Jane Bowes was the daughter of John Bowes, 9th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Mary Eleanor Bowes.^2,4 She married Colonel Barrington Price on 11 May 1789 at Houghton Le Spring, County Durham, England.¹ She died on 22 April 1806.²
     From 11 May 1789, her married name became Price.

     Lady Anna Maria Bowes was the daughter of John Bowes, 9th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Mary Eleanor Bowes.^1,2 She married Henry James Jessop on 22 January 1778.¹ She died on 29 March 1832.¹
     From 22 January 1778, her married name became Jessop.¹

     Hon. Charlotte Lyon-Bowes was born circa 1826.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas George Lyon-Bowes, Lord Glamis and Charlotte Grimstead.¹ She died on 22 October 1844.¹

     Lady Frances Lyon-Bowes was the daughter of Thomas George Lyon-Bowes, Lord Glamis and Charlotte Grimstead.¹ She married Hugh Charles Trevanion on 2 February 1858.¹ She died on 27 January 1903.¹
     On 8 February 1847 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.¹ Her married name became Trevanion.
