He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Huntingdonshire in 1480.6 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire in 1480.6 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1483.6 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Bedfordshire in 1483.6 He fought in the Battle of Stoke in 1487, for King Henry VII.6 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Kent [E., 1465] on 22 May 1490.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Grey, of Ruthin [E., 1325] on 22 May 1490.3 He gained the rank of Commander in 1491 in the Emperor Maximilian’s forces in France.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1494.6 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent in 1496.6 He fought in the Battle of Blackheath in 1497, against the rebels.6 He was Commander of the forces against the Cornishman uprising.3
