[Natal] between 1905 and 1907.1 He was with the Board of Trade between 1912 and 1917.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1917.1 He was with the Ministry of Labour between 1917 and 1922.1 He was appointed Knight in 1923.1
