     Ernest Alfred John Bagot was born on 30 March 1848.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Walter Bagot and Mary Chester.¹ He married Ethel Julia Hildyard, daughter of Reverend Henry Charles Thoroton-Hildyard, on 15 February 1879.¹ He died on 14 August 1901 at age 53, without issue.¹

     Ethel Julia Hildyard was the daughter of Reverend Henry Charles Thoroton-Hildyard.¹ She married Ernest Alfred John Bagot, son of Reverend Charles Walter Bagot and Mary Chester, on 15 February 1879.¹ She died on 10 November 1941.¹
     Her married name became Bagot.

     Reverend Henry Charles Thoroton-Hildyard is the son of Colonel Thomas Blackborne Thoroton-Hildyard and Anne Catherine Whyte.

     Walter Wagstaffe Bagot was born on 25 March 1852.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Walter Bagot and Mary Chester.¹ He died on 18 March 1882 at age 29, unmarried.¹

     Charles Frederick Heneage Bagot was born on 25 January 1858.² He was the son of Reverend Charles Walter Bagot and Mary Chester.¹ He married, firstly, Florence Eleanor Bagot, daughter of Vice-Admiral Henry Bagot and Eleanor Chandos-Pole, on 2 March 1886.¹ He and Florence Eleanor Bagot were divorced in 1906.² He married, secondly, Alice Lorina Farr, daughter of Thomas Farr, on 17 July 1909.¹ He died on 2 June 1939 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.² He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.²

     Florence Eleanor Bagot was born on 15 February 1859.² She was the daughter of Vice-Admiral Henry Bagot and Eleanor Chandos-Pole.^1,2 She married Charles Frederick Heneage Bagot, son of Reverend Charles Walter Bagot and Mary Chester, on 2 March 1886.¹ She and Charles Frederick Heneage Bagot were divorced in 1906.³ She died on 26 September 1940 at age 81.²

     Eleanor Chandos-Pole was born before 1843. She was the daughter of Edward Sacheverell Chandos-Pole and Anna Maria Wilmot.^1,2 She married Vice-Admiral Henry Bagot, son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Richard Bagot and Lady Harriet Villiers, on 9 February 1858.¹ She died on 25 November 1886.³
     Her married name became Bagot.

     David Henry Smyly is the son of Colonel Dennis Douglas Pilkington Smyly and Hon. Dorothy Margaret Berry.¹ He married Patricia Kathleen Chance, daughter of Major Neville Edward Hyde Chance and Hon. Susan Katherine Lucy Ismay, before 1966.

     Wilhelmina Frederica Bagot was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Bagot and Lady Mary Charlotte Anne Wellesley-Pole.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Henry Bagot, son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Richard Bagot and Lady Harriet Villiers, on 17 November 1846.¹ She died on 15 April 1852.¹

     Henry Eric Bagot, 7th Baron Bagot of Bagot’s Bromley was born on 4 February 1894.¹ He was the son of Charles Frederick Heneage Bagot and Florence Eleanor Bagot.² He married, firstly, Kathleen Elizabeth Saddler Hirshfeld, daughter of Eugen Hirshfeld, on 11 July 1951.¹ He and Kathleen Elizabeth Saddler Hirshfeld were divorced.² He married, secondly, Mary Frances Hibbert, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Frederick Hibbert, on 13 November 1972.^1,2 He died on 20 June 1973 at age 79, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Field Artillery.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Flying Corps.² He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Bagot, of Blithfield, co. Stafford [E., 1627] on 5 August 1961.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Bagot of Bagot’s Bromley, co. Stafford [G.B., 1780] on 5 August 1961.¹
