     Hon. Jessica Clayre Ridley was born on 5 September 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Nicholas Ridley, Baron Ridley of Liddesdale and Hon. Clayre Campbell.¹ She married David M. G. Fletcher, son of Colonel Derek Fletcher, in 1991.¹
     From 1991, her married name became Fletcher.¹ She lived in 2003 at 46 Bollingbroke Road, London, England.¹

     Hon. Mary Victoria Ridley was born on 30 November 1962.¹ She is the daughter of Matthew White Ridley, 4th Viscount Ridley and Lady Anne Katharine Gabrielle Lumley.¹ She married John James, son of P. L. James, in 1991.¹

     George Kemp, 1st Baron Rochdale was born on 9 June 1866.² He was the son of George Tawke Kemp and Emily Lydia Kelsall.² He married Lady Beatrice Mary Egerton, daughter of Francis Charles Granville Egerton, 3rd Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Katherine Louisa Phipps, on 5 August 1896.² He died on 24 March 1945 at age 78.²
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal Unionist) for Heywood between 1895 and 1906.² He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1902 in the 32nd Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.² He was appointed Knight in 1909.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for North-West Manchester between 1910 and 1912.² He was created 1st Baron Rochdale, of Rochdale, County Palatine of Lancaster [U.K.] on 14 February 1913.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1915 in the 1st/6th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.² He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier-General in the 126th and 127th Brigades, 42nd Division.² He was director of Barclays Bank.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Middlesex in 1929.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1937.²

     Hon. Diana Helen Kemp was born on 19 July 1904.² She was the daughter of George Kemp, 1st Baron Rochdale and Lady Beatrice Mary Egerton.^1,2 She married Sir John Denman Barlow, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Emmott Barlow, 1st Bt. and Hon. Anna Maria Heywood Denman, on 27 June 1928.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     Her married name became Barlow.

     Sir John Denman Barlow, 2nd Bt. was born on 15 June 1898.¹ He was the son of Sir John Emmott Barlow, 1st Bt. and Hon. Anna Maria Heywood Denman.¹ He married Hon. Diana Helen Kemp, daughter of George Kemp, 1st Baron Rochdale and Lady Beatrice Mary Egerton, on 27 June 1928.¹ He died in 1986.¹
     He was partner of Thomas Barlow and Brothers, of Manchester and London.¹ He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Barlow, of Bradwall Hall, Sandbach, Cheshire [U.K., 1907] on 17 September 1932.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire in 1935.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Eddisbury between 1945 and 1950.¹ He was director of Barclays Bank in 1950.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Middleton and Prestwich between 1951 and 1966.¹ He was director of Blantyre Tea Holdings in 1974.¹

     John Durival Kemp, 1st Viscount Rochdale was born on 5 June 1906.¹ He was the son of George Kemp, 1st Baron Rochdale and Lady Beatrice Mary Egerton.¹ He married Elinor Dorothea Pease, daughter of Ernest Hubert Pease, on 18 March 1931.¹ He died on 24 May 1993 at age 86.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the US forces in the Pacific, and the British Army in India, and he was mentioned in despatches.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Rochdale, of Rochdale, County Palatine of Lancaster [U.K., 1913] on 24 March 1945.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cumberland in 1948.¹ He was Governor of the BBC between 1954 and 1959.¹ He was director of Consett Iron Company between 1956 and 1967.¹ He was chairman of the Cotton Board between 1957 and 1962.¹ He was chairman of Kelsall and Kemp.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Rochdale, of Rochdale, County Palatine of Lancaster [U.K.] on 20 January 1960.¹ He was chairman of the National Ports Council between 1964 and 1967.¹ He was vice-chairman of West Riding Worsted and Woollen Mills between 1969 and 1993.¹ He was deputy chairman of National and Commerical Banking Group between 1971 and 1993.¹ He was deputy chairman of Williams & Glyn’s Bank between 1973 and 1993.¹

     Elinor Dorothea Pease was the daughter of Ernest Hubert Pease.¹ She married John Durival Kemp, 1st Viscount Rochdale, son of George Kemp, 1st Baron Rochdale and Lady Beatrice Mary Egerton, on 18 March 1931.² She died on 9 January 1997.¹
     Her married name became Kemp. After her marriage, Elinor Dorothea Pease was styled as Baroness Rochdale on 24 March 1945. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cumberland in 1949.² After her marriage, Elinor Dorothea Pease was styled as Viscountess Rochdale on 20 January 1960. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.²

     St. John Durival Kemp, 2nd Viscount Rochdale was born on 15 January 1938.¹ He was the son of John Durival Kemp, 1st Viscount Rochdale and Elinor Dorothea Pease.¹ He married, firstly, Serena Jane Clark-Hall, daughter of James Edward Michael Clark-Hall and Diana Mary Gatacre, on 5 January 1960.¹ He and Serena Jane Clark-Hall were divorced in 1974.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Boldon, daughter of Robert Norman Rossiter Boldon, on 16 July 1976.¹ He died on 27 February 2015 at age 77.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Rochdale, of Rochdale, County Palatine of Lancaster [U.K., 1960] in 1993.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Rochdale, of Rochdale, County Palatine of Lancaster [U.K., 1913] in 1993.¹

     Serena Jane Clark-Hall is the daughter of James Edward Michael Clark-Hall and Diana Mary Gatacre.¹ She married St. John Durival Kemp, 2nd Viscount Rochdale, son of John Durival Kemp, 1st Viscount Rochdale and Elinor Dorothea Pease, on 5 January 1960.² She and St. John Durival Kemp, 2nd Viscount Rochdale were divorced in 1974.²
     Her married name became Kemp.
