     Ruth Severn Unwin was born on 11 March 1920.² She was the daughter of Sir Stanley Unwin and Alice Mary Storr.¹ She married Norman John Lee Brodrick, son of William John Henry Brodrick and Blanche Sophia Emily Hawker, on 2 July 1940.¹ She died in September 1998 at age 78 at Chichester, Sussex, England.²
     Her married name became Brodrick.

     Sir Stanley Unwin was born on 19 December 1884. He was the son of Edwin Unwin and Elizabeth Spicer.² He married Alice Mary Storr, daughter of Raynor Storr, on 19 December 1914.

     Alice Mary Storr is the daughter of Raynor Storr. She married Sir Stanley Unwin, son of Edwin Unwin and Elizabeth Spicer, on 19 December 1914.
     Her married name became Unwin.

     Michael John Lee Brodrick was born on 12 October 1941.¹ He is the son of Norman John Lee Brodrick and Ruth Severn Unwin.¹ He married Valerie Lois Stroud, daughter of Gerald Max Stroud, on 27 September 1969.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1965 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1968 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Recorder between 1981 and 1987.¹ He held the office of Circuit Judge in 1987.¹ He held the office of Liaision Judge, South-East Hampshire Magistrates between 1989 and 1993.¹ He held the office of Liaision Judge, Isle of Wight Magistrates between 1989 and 1994.¹ He held the office of Liaision Judge, North-East and North-West Hampshire Magistrates in 1999.¹ He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn in 2000.¹

     Christopher David Brodrick was born on 10 February 1953.¹ He is the son of Norman John Lee Brodrick and Ruth Severn Unwin.¹ He married Kirsty Margaret Macarthur, daughter of Hon. Sir Ian Macarthur, in 1975.²
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.¹ He lived in 2003 at 30 Wroxton Terrace, Christchurch, New Zealand.¹

     Peter Matthew Brodrick was born on 10 August 1954.¹ He is the son of Norman John Lee Brodrick and Ruth Severn Unwin.¹ He married Melanie Jean Forbes, daughter of Lloyd Forbes, in 1982.² He and Melanie Jean Forbes were divorced in 1993.²
