     Maria Carlota Perpetua de Morais Sarmento is the daughter of Cristovão Pedro de Morais Sarmento, Visconde de Torre de Moncorvo.¹ She married Albert George Sandeman.¹

     Karen Heather Orrock was born on 9 January 1976 at Forfar, Angus, Scotland.² She is the daughter of William Orrock and Heather Duncan.² She married, firstly, Ian Baxter on 18 July 1997.² She and Ian Baxter were divorced before 2011.² She married, secondly, Michael Fergus Bowes-Lyon, 18th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, son of Fergus Michael Claude Bowes-Lyon, 17th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Mary Pamela McCorquodale, on 4 August 2012 at Glamis, Angus, Scotland.¹
     From 18 July 1997, her married name became Baxter.¹ From 4 August 2012, her married name became Bowes-Lyon.¹ After her marriage, Karen Heather Orrock was styled as Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne on 4 August 2012.

     Alice Chapman was the daughter of Captain Alfred Chapman.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. Henry Brodrick, son of Reverend William John Brodrick, 7th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Hon. Harriet Brodrick, on 1 June 1869.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend James Meaburn Staniland on 3 July 1883.¹ She died in July 1892.¹
     From 1 June 1869, her married name became Brodrick.¹ From 3 July 1883, her married name became Staniland.¹

     Arthur Murray Waller was born on 17 August 1849 at Belgaum, Bombay, India.¹ He was the son of Surg.-Maj. Thomas Waller and Alicia Anne Gilbert.¹ He married Helen Jane Elizabeth Evenden on 3 January 1878 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.² He died on 20 March 1885 at age 35 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.²

     Colonel William Francis Frederick Waller, V.C. was born on 20 August 1839 at Dagoolie, Bombay, India.¹ He was the son of Surg.-Maj. Thomas Waller and Alicia Anne Gilbert.¹ He married Mary Anna Grierson on 16 June 1864 at Bombay, India.³ He died on 29 January 1885 at age 45 at 1 Lansdowne Terrace, Bath, Somerset, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.³ He fought in the Indian Mutiny.¹ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.), for his actions on 20 June 1858.¹
