Thomas, on 14 April 1909.¹ She married, secondly, Major Herbert David Johns, son of Reverend T. Johns, on 28 February 1927.¹ She died on 1 September 1967.¹
     From 14 April 1909, her married name became Thomas. From 28 February 1927, her married name became Johns.¹

     Lt.-Col. J. R. Thomas held the office of Deputy-Governor of Sierra Leone.¹

     Hugh Mortimer Thomas was the son of Lt.-Col. J. R. Thomas.² He married Georgiana Margaret Yorke, daughter of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon, on 14 April 1909.¹ He died on 25 September 1925.¹
     He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹

     Katherine Olive Yorke is the daughter of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon.² She married Sir Francis Charles Rupert Ford, 5th Bt., son of Sir Francis Colville Ford, 4th Bt. and Frances Colville Ford, on 3 September 1918.¹
     From 3 September 1918, her married name became Ford.

     Katherine Ruth Brodrick was born in 1980.¹ She is the daughter of Christopher David Brodrick and Kirsty Margaret Macarthur.²

     Marianna Augusta Yorke was the daughter of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon.² She died on 12 March 1926, unmarried.¹

     Sophie Cecilia Yorke was the daughter of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon.² She married Maj.-Gen. George Oswald Crawford, son of Colonel Arthur Gosset Crawford, on 29 February 1928.¹ She died on 10 July 1974.¹
     From 29 February 1928, her married name became Crawford.

     Maj.-Gen. George Oswald Crawford is the son of Colonel Arthur Gosset Crawford.² He married Sophie Cecilia Yorke, daughter of James Charles Yorke and Katharine Ellen Langdon, on 29 February 1928.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Reginald Somers Yorke was born on 10 June 1854 at York, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was the son of James Charles Yorke and Georgiana Augusta Hawkins.² He married Emmeline Crofton, daughter of Henry Bliss Crofton and Sophia Horsfall, on 10 February 1886.¹ He died on 29 January 1916 at age 61.¹
     He lived at Dame Lys, Watlington, Oxfordshire, England^G.²
