     Hannelore Ellen Erhardt was the daughter of Hermann Erhardt.² She married, firstly, Michael Orlando Weetman Pearson, 4th Viscount Cowdray, son of Lt.-Col. Weetman John Churchill Pearson, 3rd Viscount Cowdray and Lady Anne Pamela Bridgeman, in 1977.¹ She and Michael Orlando Weetman Pearson, 4th Viscount Cowdray were divorced in 1984.¹ She married, secondly, Spencer Douglas David Compton, 7th Marquess of Northampton, son of William Bingham Compton, 6th Marquess of Northampton and Virginia Lucie Heaton, on 12 January 1985.² She and Spencer Douglas David Compton, 7th Marquess of Northampton were divorced in 1988.² She died on 16 April 2015.³
     Hannelore Ellen Erhardt also went by the nick-name of Fritzi.¹ Her married name became Pearson. From 12 January 1985, her married name became Compton. After her marriage, Hannelore Ellen Erhardt was styled as Marchioness of Northampton on 12 January 1985.

Branson, in September 2009 at Cowdray Park, Sussex, England.³ She and Edward Lyulph Abel Smith were divorced on 10 August 2011.⁴
     From September 2009, her married name became Abel Smith.³
