     Her married name became Hornblower.

     Ralph Hornblower, Jr. was the son of Ralph Hornblower.¹ He married, firstly, Priscilla Alder Blumer.² He married, secondly, Phoebe Mary Blumer, daughter of John Alder Cripps Blumer and Lady Ella Mary Maitland, on 12 October 1960.¹ He died in March 1986.²

     Ralph Hornblower lived at Plymouth, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹

     John Greenwood Hornblower was born on 6 October 1961.¹ He is the son of Ralph Hornblower, Jr. and Phoebe Mary Blumer.¹

     Philippa Sydney Isabel Blumer was born on 30 May 1945.¹ She is the daughter of John Alder Cripps Blumer and Lady Ella Mary Maitland.¹ She married James C. Bell, son of A. C. Bell, on 13 September 1975.¹
     From 13 September 1975, her married name became Bell.¹

     Major Hon. Alfred Henry Maitland was born on 9 December 1872.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frederick Henry Maitland, 13th Earl of Lauderdale and Charlotte Sarah Sleigh.¹ He married Edith Scobell, daughter of Sanford George Treweeke Scobell and Edith Palairet, on 5 January 1905.¹ He died in September 1914 at age 41, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1898.¹ He fought in the Omdurman Campaign.¹ He fought in the Atbara Campaign.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Queens’ Own Cameron Highlanders.¹

     Edith Scobell was the daughter of Sanford George Treweeke Scobell and Edith Palairet.¹ She married Major Hon. Alfred Henry Maitland, son of Lt.-Col. Frederick Henry Maitland, 13th Earl of Lauderdale and Charlotte Sarah Sleigh, on 5 January 1905.¹ She died on 27 March 1963.¹
     Her married name became Maitland.

     Henry Hamilton Palairet is the son of Captain Septimus Henry Palairet and Mary Anne Hamilton.

     Edith Charlotte Maitland was born on 15 November 1905.¹ She was the daughter of Major Hon. Alfred Henry Maitland and Edith Scobell.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Humphrey Ion Bradshaw on 28 June 1930.¹ She died on 12 May 1951 at age 45.¹
     Her married name became Bradshaw.

     Lt.-Col. Humphrey Ion Bradshaw married Edith Charlotte Maitland, daughter of Major Hon. Alfred Henry Maitland and Edith Scobell, on 28 June 1930.¹
     He lived at Banbridge, County Down, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Gordon Highlanders.¹
