     Lt.-Col. Francis William Lloyd-Anstruther was born on 20 February 1849.¹ He was the son of Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther and Hon. Georgiana Christiana Barrington.¹ He died on 4 January 1918 at age 68, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment.¹

     James Lloyd-Anstruther was born on 9 January 1852.¹ He was the son of Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther and Hon. Georgiana Christiana Barrington.¹ He married Hon. Eleonora Chetwynd, daughter of Richard Walter Chetwynd, 7th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven and Harriet Johanna Campbell, on 29 June 1907.¹ He died on 22 March 1947 at age 95.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.¹ He lived at Knapp House, Gillingham, Dorset, England^G.²

     Colonel Basil Lloyd-Anstruther was born on 1 December 1852.¹ He was the son of Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther and Hon. Georgiana Christiana Barrington.¹ He married Adela Maria Loder, daughter of Sir Robert Loder, 1st Bt. and Maria Georgiana Busk, on 25 April 1899.¹ He died on 27 December 1932 at age 80.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 1st Battalion, Manchester Regiment.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Hon. Alexander Stewart was born on 8 November 1838.² He was the son of Randolph Stewart, 9th Earl of Galloway and Lady Harriett Blanche Somerset.² He married Adela Maria Loder, daughter of Sir Robert Loder, 1st Bt. and Maria Georgiana Busk, on 12 June 1883.¹ He died on 6 January 1896 at age 57.
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kirkcudbrightshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wigtonshire.²

     John Capel Philips lived at The Heath House, Tean, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Bertha Mary Philips was the daughter of John Capel Philips.¹ She married Cecil Lloyd-Anstruther, son of Captain James Hamilton Lloyd-Anstruther and Hon. Georgiana Christiana Barrington, on 4 August 1904.¹ She died on 26 July 1958.¹
     Her married name became Lloyd-Anstruther.

     Randolph Henry Stewart, 11th Earl of Galloway was born on 14 October 1836.² He was the son of Randolph Stewart, 9th Earl of Galloway and Lady Harriett Blanche Somerset.¹ He married Amy Mary Pauline Cliffe, daughter of Anthony John Cliffe, on 3 June 1891.² He died on 7 February 1920 at age 83.²
     He fought in the Crimean War.² He fought in the Indian Mutiny.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 52nd Royal Highlanders.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wigtonshire.² He held the office of Provost of Newton Stewart between 1901 and 1904.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Stewart, of Corsewell [N.S., 1627] on 7 February 1901.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Lord of Garlies [S., 1607] on 7 February 1901.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Stewart, of Burray [N.S., 1687] on 7 February 1901.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Galloway [S., 1623] on 7 February 1901.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Stewart of Garlies, in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright [G.B., 1795] on 7 February 1901.¹
