     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery, Australian Imperial Forces.¹

     Catherine Harriett Taylor was the daughter of Frederick G. Taylor.¹ She married Jasper Brodie Croft, son of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 7 August 1907.¹ She died in 1975.¹
     Her married name became Croft.

     Janet Georgiana Croft was born circa 1871. She was the daughter of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh.¹ She married Edward Archer Greathed, son of Maj.-Gen. William Wilberforce Harris Greathed and Alice Clive, on 21 January 1891.¹ She died on 19 April 1921, leaving issue.¹

William Wilberforce Harris Greathed and Alice Clive.^1,3 He married Janet Georgiana Croft, daughter of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 21 January 1891.¹ He died on 11 November 1921.¹

     Sybil Helen Croft was born circa 1876. She was the daughter of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh.¹ She married Sir John Rumney Nicholson, son of Isaac Nicholson and Alice Dodd, on 24 September 1902.¹ She died on 11 August 1959.¹
     Her married name became Nicholson.

     Sir John Rumney Nicholson was born in 1866 at Langwathby, Cumberland, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Isaac Nicholson and Alice Dodd.^1,3 He married Sybil Helen Croft, daughter of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 24 September 1902.¹ He died in November 1939.²
