     Dr. William Erskine was born on 6 July 1952.¹ He is the son of Sir Thomas David Erskine of Cambo, 5th Bt. and Ann Fraser Tytler.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Jane McElroy Pratt, daughter of Dr. Charles William McElroy Pratt, on 29 September 1973.¹ He married, secondly, Mireille Abdelnour, daughter of Georges Abdelnour, in 1982.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Aleppo, Syria^G.¹

     Caroline Sarah Erskine was born on 19 September 1948.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas David Erskine of Cambo, 5th Bt. and Ann Fraser Tytler.¹ She married Edmund Christpher Hope Sharpe, son of Edmund Sharpe, on 22 March 1974.¹ She died on 5 January 1976 at age 27.¹
     From 22 March 1974, her married name became Sharpe.¹

     Lieutenant Ralph John Erskine was born on 17 September 1914. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Wilfred Hargreaves John Erskine of Cambo, 4th Bt. and Magdalen Janet Anstruther. He died on 1 December 1937 at age 23.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.

     Mary Ruth Erskine was born on 18 August 1913. She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Wilfred Hargreaves John Erskine of Cambo, 4th Bt. and Magdalen Janet Anstruther.

     Diana Mildred Erskine was born on 12 November 1915.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Wilfred Hargreaves John Erskine of Cambo, 4th Bt. and Magdalen Janet Anstruther.¹ She married, firstly, Major Nigel Robert Mackie Skene, son of Reverend Robert Erskine Skene, on 21 August 1941.¹ She married, secondly, Major David Grant Buxton, son of Frederick Grant Buxton, on 3 January 1945.¹
     From 21 August 1941, her married name became Skene. From 3 January 1945, her married name became Buxton.

     Major Nigel Robert Mackie Skene was born on 2 March 1907 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.² He was the son of Reverend Robert Erskine Skene.¹ He married Diana Mildred Erskine, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Wilfred Hargreaves John Erskine of Cambo, 4th Bt. and Magdalen Janet Anstruther, on 21 August 1941.¹ He died on 15 November 1942 at age 35, killed in action on board H.M.S. Avenger.^1,2
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the Royal Marines.¹

     Reverend Robert Erskine Skene lived at St. Cross Rectory, Harleston, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Major David Grant Buxton is the son of Frederick Grant Buxton.¹ He married Diana Mildred Erskine, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Thomas Wilfred Hargreaves John Erskine of Cambo, 4th Bt. and Magdalen Janet Anstruther, on 3 January 1945.¹
