Thomas Trenchard, 2nd Viscount Trenchard was born on 15 December 1923.2 He was the son of Air Marshal Hugh Montague Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard and Katherine Isabel Salvin Bowlby.2 He married Patricia Scott Bailey, daughter of Admiral Sir Sidney Robert Bailey, on 19 June 1948.2 He died in 1987.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.2 He was director of T Wall and Sons Ltd between 1953 and 1966.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Trenchard, of Wolfeton, co.
