Air Marshal Hugh Montague Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard was born on 3 February 1873.3 He was the son of Henry Montague Trenchard and Georgina Louisa Catherine Tower Skene.4 He married Katherine Isabel Salvin Bowlby, daughter of Edward Salvin Bowlby and Elizabeth Vans Agnew, on 17 June 1920.1 He died on 10 February 1956 at age 83.1
