     John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty was born on 12 November 1902.¹ He was the son of Richard Walter John Hely Hutchinson, 6th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Elena Maria Grace.¹ He married Dorothy Jean Hotham, daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson, on 27 July 1925.¹ He died in 1981.
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Peterborough between 1943 and June 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Armoured Corps (Territorial Army.)¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Hutchinson of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [U.K., 1821] on 19 October 1948.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty [I., 1800] on 19 October 1948.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Donoughmore of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [I., 1797] on 19 October 1948.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Donoughmore of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [I., 1783] on 19 October 1948.¹ In June 1974 he was kidnapped, with his wife, by the IRA as a political hostage, and released after a week.¹

     Dorothy Jean Hotham was born on 12 August 1906.³ She was the daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson.^1,3 She married John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty, son of Richard Walter John Hely Hutchinson, 6th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Elena Maria Grace, on 27 July 1925.³ She died on 29 December 1995 at age 89.¹
     Her married name became Hely Hutchinson. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1947.¹ After her marriage, Dorothy Jean Hotham was styled as Countess of Donoughmore of Knocklofty on 19 October 1948. In June 1974 she was kidnapped, with her husband, by the IRA as a political hostage, and released after a week.³ She was appointed Serving Sister, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (S.S.St.J.)¹

     Ian Maxwell Scoggins was born circa 1936.² He died on 3 November 2012.²

     Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty was born on 8 August 1927.¹ He is the son of John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Dorothy Jean Hotham.² He married Sheila Parsons, daughter of Frank Frederick Parsons, on 1 November 1951.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Groton School, Groton, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (B.M.)¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1952 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty [I., 1800] in 1981.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Donoughmore of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [I., 1797] in 1981.² He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Hutchinson of Knocklofty, co. Tipperary [U.K., 1821] in 1981.² He succeeded as the 9th Baron Donoughmore of Knocklofty co. Tipperary [I., 1783] in 1981.² He lived in 2003 at The Manor House, Bampton, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Sheila Parsons was the daughter of Frank Frederick Parsons.¹ She married Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty, son of John Michael Henry Hely Hutchinson, 7th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Dorothy Jean Hotham, on 1 November 1951.¹ She died in September 1998.¹
     Her married name became Hely Hutchinson. After her marriage, Sheila Parsons was styled as Countess of Donoughmore of Knocklofty in 1981.

     Frank Frederick Parsons died before 1963.

     John Michael James Hely Hutchinson, Viscount Suirdale was born on 7 August 1952.¹ He is the son of Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Sheila Parsons.¹ He married Marie-Claire van den Driessche, daughter of Gerard van den Driessche, on 8 January 1977.¹
     He was styled as Viscount Suirdale.¹ He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at 38 Thornton Avenue, London, England^G.¹

     Hon. Timothy Mark Hely Hutchinson was born on 26 October 1953.¹ He is the son of Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Sheila Parsons.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was with Macmillan between 1975 and 1982.¹ He was managing director of Macdonald & Company between 1982 and 1986.¹ He was managing director of Headline Book Publishing between 1986 and 1993.¹ He was managing director of Hodder Headline in 1993.¹ He was a director of W. H. Smith Group plc in 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at Boxford House, Boxford, Newbury, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Nicholas David Hely Hutchinson was born on 30 April 1955.¹ He is the son of Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Sheila Parsons.¹ He married Fiona Margaret MacIntyre Watson, daughter of Major W. R. Watson, on 19 June 1982.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹

     Hon. Ralph Charles Hely Hutchinson was born on 16 December 1961.¹ He is the son of Richard Michael John Hely Hutchinson, 8th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Sheila Parsons.¹ He married Caroline Rylance, daughter of John Rylance and Colette Beauprez, on 3 November 1995.¹
