     Lieutenant Walter Reginald Basil Long was born on 13 December 1918 at Kensington, London, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Richard Eric Onslow Long, 3rd Viscount Long and Gwendolyn Hague Cook.¹ He died on 28 April 1941 at age 22 at Greece^G, drowned while on active service.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Richard Gerard Long, 4th Viscount Long was born on 30 January 1929 at London, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Richard Eric Onslow Long, 3rd Viscount Long and Gwendolyn Hague Cook.¹ He was baptised on 5 March 1929 at Crypt Chapel, House of Commons, Westminster, London, England^G.² He married, firstly, Margaret Frances Frazer, daughter of Ninian Bannatyne Frazer and Helen Campbell, on 2 March 1957 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.^1,2 He and Margaret Frances Frazer were divorced in 1984.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Patricia Elizabeth Miles-Ede, daughter of Charles Terence Miles-Ede, in April 1984 at Dorset, England^G.^1,2 He and Catherine Patricia Elizabeth Miles-Ede were divorced in 1990.¹ He married, thirdly, Helen Millar Wright Fleming-Gibbons on 22 June 1990 at Hertfordshire, England^G.^1,2 He died on 13 June 2017 at age 88.³
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He did his National Service as a officer in the 1st and 2nd Battalions, Wiltshire Regiment between 1947 and 1949.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Long, of Wraxall, co. Wilts [U.K., 1921] on 12 January 1967.¹ He held the office of Opposition Whip between 1974 and 1979.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1979 and 1997.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1993.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Island, Newquay, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Margaret Frances Frazer was born on 31 December 1928 at Singapore.² She was the daughter of Ninian Bannatyne Frazer and Helen Campbell.^1,2 She married Richard Gerard Long, 4th Viscount Long, son of Richard Eric Onslow Long, 3rd Viscount Long and Gwendolyn Hague Cook, on 2 March 1957 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.^1,3 She and Richard Gerard Long, 4th Viscount Long were divorced in 1984.¹ She died on 1 February 2016 at age 87.⁴
     Her married name became Long. After her marriage, Margaret Frances Frazer was styled as Viscountess Long on 12 January 1967. She wrote the book Let the Petals Fall, published 1986.² She wrote the book The Wedding Present: Riches of Spritual Wisdom for Life’s Journey, published 1999.²

     Ninian Bannatyne Frazer was born in 1886.² He was the son of unknown Frazer.³ He married Helen Campbell.³ He died in 1979.²
     He lived at 59 Hyde Park Gate, London, England^G.¹ He was a POW in Japan during the Second World War.²

Charlotte Helen Long was born on 9 October 1965 at Devizes, Wiltshire, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Richard Gerard Long, 4th Viscount Long and Margaret Frances Frazer.¹ She was baptised on 12 December 1965 at St. Mary’s Church, Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire, England^G.² She died on 6 October 1984 at age 18 at England, from injuries sustained three days earlier when her broken down car parked on the hard shoulder of the M4 motorway was rear-ended by a truck.^1,2

     Her married name became Woolf.¹ From April 1984, her married name became Long. After her marriage, Catherine Patricia Elizabeth Miles-Ede was styled as Viscountess Long in April 1984.
