     Maj.-Gen. William Edward Montgomery was the son of Hugh Montgomery and Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Herbert. He married Alberta Victoria Ponsonby, daughter of General Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Frederick Ponsonby and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Bulteel, on 22 June 1891.¹ He died on 11 June 1927.
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Scots Guards.¹ He lived at Grey Abbey, County Down, Ireland^G.¹

     Magdalen Ponsonby was the daughter of General Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Frederick Ponsonby and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Bulteel.¹ She died on 1 July 1934, unmarried.¹

     Thomas Robley lived at Ingleberg, Beckermet, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley was born on 28 September 1705.³ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Stephen Fox and Christiana Hope.³ He married, firstly, Penelope Dyve, daughter of Sir John Dyve, in February 1732/33.³ He married, secondly, Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland, daughter of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Lady Sarah Cadogan, on 2 May 1744 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 1 July 1774 at age 68.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Hindon between 1735 and 1741.³ He held the office of Surveyor-General of Works between 1737 and 1743.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Windsor between 1741 and 1761.³ He held the office of a Lord of Treasury between 1743 and 1746.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1746.³ He held the office of Secretary of War between 1746 and 1755.³ He held the office of Secretary of State for the South.³ He held the office of Leader of the House of Commons between 1755 and 1756.³ He held the office of Paymaster-General between 1757 and 1765.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich between 1761 and 1763.³ He was Clerk of the Pells [Ireland] in 1762.³ He was created 1st Baron Holland of Foxley, co.      Stephen Fox, 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley was born on 20 February 1745.¹ He was the son of Henry Fox, 1st Baron Holland of Foxley and Georgiana Carolina Lennox, Lady Holland, Baroness of Holland.¹ He married Lady Mary FitzPatrick, daughter of John FitzPatrick, 1st Earl of Upper Ossory and Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower, on 20 April 1766 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 26 November 1774 at age 29.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley, co. Wilts [G.B., 1763] on 1 July 1774.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Holland, Baron of Holland [G.B., 1762] on 24 July 1774.¹

     Richard Vassall is the son of Florentius Vassall.¹ He married Mary Clark, daughter of Thomas Clark, before 1796.² He died before 1796.²
     He lived at Jamaica.¹

     Hon. Caroline Fox was the daughter of Stephen Fox, 2nd Baron Holland of Foxley and Lady Mary FitzPatrick.¹ She died on 12 March 1845.¹

     Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox was born on 19 February 1806. She was the daughter of Henry Richard Vassall Fox, 3rd Baron Holland of Foxley and Elizabeth Vassall.¹ She married Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford of Lilford, son of Thomas Powys, 2nd Baron Lilford of Lilford and Henrietta Maria Atherton, on 22 May 1830.¹ She died on 7 December 1891 at age 85.²
     After her marriage, Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox was styled as Baroness Lilford of Lilford on 22 May 1830. From 22 May 1830, her married name became Powys.

     Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford of Lilford was born on 2 December 1801.¹ He was the son of Thomas Powys, 2nd Baron Lilford of Lilford and Henrietta Maria Atherton.¹ He married Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox, daughter of Henry Richard Vassall Fox, 3rd Baron Holland of Foxley and Elizabeth Vassall, on 22 May 1830.² He died on 15 March 1861 at age 59.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated in 1821 at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Lilford of Lilford, co. Northampton [G.B., 1797] on 4 July 1825.¹ He held the office of a Lord of the Bedchamber between 1831 and 1835.¹ He held the office of a Lord of the Bedchamber between 1835 and 1837.¹ He held the office of a Lord in Waiting between 1837 and 1841.¹

     Thomas Littleton Powys, 4th Baron Lilford of Lilford was born on 18 March 1833.¹ He was the son of Thomas Atherton Powys, 3rd Baron Lilford of Lilford and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Fox.¹ He married, firstly, Emma Elizabeth Brandling, daughter of Robert William Brandling, on 14 June 1859 at London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Clementina Baillie-Hamilton, daughter of Ker Baillie-Hamilton and Emma Blair, on 21 July 1885 at Hawthorne Hill, Berkshire, England^G.² He died on 17 June 1896 at age 63.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Lilford of Lilford, co. Northampton [G.B., 1797] on 15 March 1861.¹ He wrote the book Birds of the British Isles.¹
