     Sophie Catherine Street was the daughter of General John Alfred Street.² She married Major Edric Frederick Gifford, 3rd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s, V.C., son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 22 April 1880 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 14 February 1947.¹
     After her marriage, Sophie Catherine Street was styled as Baroness Gifford of St. Leonard’s on 22 April 1880. From 22 April 1880, her married name became Gifford.

     General John Alfred Street was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Sub-Lt. Edward Robert Gifford was born in November 1853.¹ He was the son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ He died on 24 March 1878 at age 24, drowned in the sinking of H.M.S. Eurydice off the Isle of Wight.¹
     He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s was born on 8 March 1857.¹ He was the son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Osborne, daughter of John Osborne, on 26 November 1879.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Maud Aitchison, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Aitchison, on 5 June 1918.¹ He died on 29 January 1937 at age 79, without male issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South Gloucestershire Militia.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s, co. Devon [U.K., 1824] on 5 June 1911.¹

     Mary Osborne was the daughter of John Osborne.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Booth before 1879.¹ She married, secondly, Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s, son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 26 November 1879.¹ She died on 15 August 1913.¹
     From before 1879, her married name became Booth.¹ From 26 November 1879, her married name became Gifford. After her marriage, Mary Osborne was styled as Baroness Gifford of St. Leonard’s on 5 June 1911.

     John Osborne was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹

     Sally Fraser was born on 3 February 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Donald Stuart Denholm Fraser and Myrtle Josephine Ward.¹ She married Clive Freshwater in 1971.¹
     From 1971, her married name became Freshwater.¹ She lived in 1999 at The Hall, Kincraig, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Anne Maud Aitchison was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Aitchison.¹ She married Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s, son of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 5 June 1918.¹ She died on 24 February 1956.¹
     Her married name became Gifford.

     Lt.-Col. William Aitchison gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.¹ He lived at Drummore, Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Hon. Serena Mary Gifford was born on 30 September 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Edgar Berkeley Gifford, 4th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Anne Maud Aitchison.¹ She married, firstly, Patrick de Gruchy Vignoles Crawshay Warren, son of Guy de Gruchy Warren and Evelyn Illtydd Crawshay, on 28 September 1940.¹ She and Patrick de Gruchy Vignoles Crawshay Warren were divorced in 1947.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur Reginald Danks, son of Arthur Benjamin Danks, on 17 October 1951.¹
     From 28 September 1940, her married name became Warren. From 17 October 1951, her married name became Danks. She lived in 2003 at 39 High Street, Sydling St. Nicholas, Dorset, England^G.¹
