Sir Denis Le Marchant, 5th Bt. was born on 28 February 1906. He is the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Edward Thomas Le Marchant, 4th Bt. and Evelyn Brooks Knowles. He married Elizabeth Rowena Worth, daughter of Arthur Hovenden Worth and unknown daughter Thompson, on 30 June 1933.1 He died in 1987.1
He was educated at Radley College, Radley, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Cheshire Yeomanry (Reserves.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Nottingham (Sherwood Rangers.)2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Le Marchant, of Chobham Place, Surrey [U.K., 1841] on 17 November 1953.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1958.1 He lived at Huntington Hall, Lincolnshire, England.1
