Frederick Undecimus Hollins was born in 1911 at Pleasley, Nottinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of William Hollins.3 He married Daphne Myddleton Jackson, daughter of Major Sir George Julius Jackson, 3rd Bt. and Nesta Katherine Barclay, on 29 July 1939.1 He died on 4 May 1942 at Oban, Argyllshire, Scotland, killed in action.1,2
     He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1
