John la Zouche, 8th Baron Zouche (of Haryngworth) was born circa 1486.1 He was the son of John la Zouche, 7th Baron Zouche (of Haryngworth) and Joan Dinham.1,2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Capell, daughter of Sir William Capell and Margaret Arundell.1 He married, secondly, Susan Welby, daughter of William Welby, before 8 October 1527.2 He died on 10 August 1550.1
He held the office of Lieutenant of Selwood Forest.2 He was appointed Knight in 1513.2 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Saint Maur [E., 1314] circa March 1526, de jure.2 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Lovel, of Castle Cary circa March 1526, de jure.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Zouche, of Haryngworth [E., 1308] circa March 1525/26.2
