     William Browne is the son of Sir Anthony Browne and Alice Gage.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Hastings, daughter of Sir Hugh Hastings and Katherine le Strange.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Noell after 1588.²
     He lived at Elsing, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Hastings was born in 1533.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Hugh Hastings and Katherine le Strange.¹ She married Hamon le Strange, son of Sir Nicholas le Strange and Ellen FitzWilliam.¹ She died in 1580.¹
     Her married name became Strange.¹

     John Anthony Massereene-James married Sarah Daphne Hollins, daughter of S/Ldr. Frederick Undecimus Hollins and Daphne Myddleton Jackson, on 25 May 1963.¹ He and Sarah Daphne Hollins were divorced.¹

     Toby Julius Massereene-James was born on 14 March 1969.¹ He is the son of John Anthony Massereene-James and Sarah Daphne Hollins.²

     Dr. George Jones is the son of Reverend William Taylor Jones and Mary Ann Taylor.¹ He married Sarah Jane Tetley, daughter of Joseph Tetley and Jane Whitaker, in 1870 at Lewisham, Kent, England^G.¹
     He was a general practitioner at Framlingham, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Martyn Hastings was the son of Sir George Hastings and Joan Brabason.¹ He married, firstly, Amy Mabbes, daughter of George Mabbes and Dorothy Sefoule.² He married, secondly, Mary Stutville after 1562.² He died on 25 October 1574, without issue.¹
     His last will was dated 3 August 1574.²

     Ella Mary Jones was born circa 1873.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. George Jones and Sarah Jane Tetley.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Bishop in 1895.¹ She married, secondly, James Gardner Garnett, son of William Garnett and Agnes Townsend, in 1902 at East Grinstead, Surrey, England^G.¹ She died in 1954 at Wycombe, Leicestershire, England^G.¹
     From 1895, her married name became Bishop.¹ From 1902, her married name became Garnett.¹

     Sir Edmund Hastings, 1st and last Lord Hastings (of Inchmahome) was the son of Sir Henry de Hastings and Joan de Cauntelo.¹ He married Isabel Russell, Countess of Menteith, daughter of Sir John Russell and Isabel, Countess of Menteith.¹ He died on 24 June 1314, killed in action, without issue.¹
     In 1296 he swore allegiance to King Edward I.¹ He fought in the Battle of Falkirk in 1298, for the English.¹ He was created 1st Lord Hastings, of Inchmahome [England by writ] in 1299.¹ He fought in the Siege of Carlaverock in 1300.¹ He fought in the Battle of Bannockburn on 24 June 1314, on the English side.¹

     Patrick Yelverton Fairbairn was born on 5 October 1913.¹ He was the son of Edward Percy Fairbairn and Constance Eden.² He married Dorothy Mary Henshaw, daughter of Lewis Henshaw, on 25 June 1940.¹ He died on 22 March 2004 at age 90 at Shiplake Nursing Home, Shiplake, Oxfordshire, England.³
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd/15th Punjab Regiment, Indian Army.¹

     Edward James Fairbairn was born on 11 August 1950.¹ He is the son of Patrick Yelverton Fairbairn and Dorothy Mary Henshaw.² He married Fiona Catherine Gray, daughter of Major Malcolm Comrie Gray and Daphne Myddleton Jackson, in 1974.²
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He graduated from West Surrey College of Art and Design, Surrey, England^G, with a Diploma of Architecture and Design (Dip.A.D.)¹
