     Katherine Anne Griffenhoofe was the daughter of Henry Lyons Griffenhoofe. She married Sir Frederick Carne Rasch, 1st Bt., son of Frederick Carne Rasch and Catherine Jane Edwards, on 16 December 1879.¹ She died on 16 January 1944.¹
     From 16 December 1879, her married name became Rasch.¹

     Her married name became Clifton. She was iin the First World War.¹ She wrote the book The Book of talbot, published 1933.¹ She was awarded the James Tait Black Memorial Prize.¹ She was a Poor Clare nun between 1950 and 1956.¹
