He lived at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, England.2 He lived at Blackmore Park, Worcestershire, England.2

Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland was born on 4 November 1890.1 He was the son of Alfred Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold and Alice de la Chere.1 He married Hon. Mary Christina Strickland, daughter of Gerald Paul Joseph Cajetan Carmel Antony Martin Strickland, 1st and last Baron Strickland and Lady Edeline Sackville, on 7 July 1920.3 He died in 1975.2
He was given the name of Henry Albert Gandolfi-Hornyold at birth.1 He lived at SizerghG. In 1932 his name was legally changed to Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Westmorland between 1937 and 1938.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Westmorland between 1957 and 1965.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1

Mary Christina Strickland was born on 4 June 1896.1 She was the daughter of Gerald Paul Joseph Cajetan Carmel Antony Martin Strickland, 1st and last Baron Strickland and Lady Edeline Sackville.1 She married Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland, son of Alfred Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold and Alice de la Chere, on 7 July 1920.1 She died in 1970.2
She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.1 From 7 July 1920, her married name became Gandolfi-Hornyold. From 1932, her married name became Hornyold-Strickland.3
