     Thomas Charles Gandolfi-Hornyold, 1st Duke Gandolfi was born on 22 December 1846 at 47 Upper Brook Street, London, England.¹ He was the son of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale.² He married Maria Teresa Luisa de Cabrera, daughter of Ramon de Cabrera, Count de Morella, Marquis del Ter, on 19 February 1878.¹ He died on 27 February 1906 at age 59.¹
     He was created 1st Marquis Gandolfi [Papal States] on 29 March 1895.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire.² He was created 1st Duke Gandolfi [Papal States] on 6 May 1899.² He was awarded the Knight Grand Cross, Pontifical Order of the Holy Sepulchre.² He succeeded as the 14th Marchese Gandolfi in 1902. He lived at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire, England.² He lived at Blackmore Park, Worcestershire, England.²

     Reverend Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold was born on 13 April 1849. He was the son of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale.¹ He died on 25 July 1929 at age 80.
     He was a Jesuit priest.

     Alfred Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold was born on 7 October 1850.² He was the son of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale.² He married Alice de la Chere on 20 October 1888.² He died on 26 April 1922 at age 71.²

     Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold was born circa 1858. He was the son of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale.¹ He died circa 1859, young.

     Mary Gandolfi-Hornyold was baptised on 13 February 1848 at Immaculate Conception, Foxcote, Warwickshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale.² She married Hubert Aloysius Tichborne Hibbert on 29 November 1871 at Westminster, London, England.¹
     Her married name became Hibbert.

     Hubert Aloysius Tichborne Hibbert was born in 1849. He married Mary Gandolfi-Hornyold, daughter of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale, on 29 November 1871 at Westminster, London, England.² He died in 1879.

     Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland was born on 4 November 1890.¹ He was the son of Alfred Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold and Alice de la Chere.¹ He married Hon. Mary Christina Strickland, daughter of Gerald Paul Joseph Cajetan Carmel Antony Martin Strickland, 1st and last Baron Strickland and Lady Edeline Sackville, on 7 July 1920.³ He died in 1975.²
     He was given the name of Henry Albert Gandolfi-Hornyold at birth.¹ He lived at Sizergh^G. In 1932 his name was legally changed to Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland by Royal Licence.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Westmorland between 1937 and 1938.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Westmorland between 1957 and 1965.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹

     Hon. Mary Christina Strickland was born on 4 June 1896.¹ She was the daughter of Gerald Paul Joseph Cajetan Carmel Antony Martin Strickland, 1st and last Baron Strickland and Lady Edeline Sackville.¹ She married Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland, son of Alfred Joseph Gandolfi-Hornyold and Alice de la Chere, on 7 July 1920.¹ She died in 1970.²
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.¹ From 7 July 1920, her married name became Gandolfi-Hornyold. From 1932, her married name became Hornyold-Strickland.³

     Thomas Henry Hornyold-Strickland, 7th Count della Catena was born on 26 April 1921.¹ He was the son of Henry Albert Hornyold-Strickland and Hon. Mary Christina Strickland.¹ He married Angela Mary Engleheart, daughter of Francis Henry Arnold Engleheart and Filumena Mary Mayne, on 20 January 1951.¹ He died on 7 April 1983 at age 61.²
     He succeeded as the 7th Count della Catena.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Westmorland between 1973 and 1974.¹
