     Ralph Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 3rd Duke Gandolfi was born on 4 March 1881 at France.1 He was the son of Thomas Charles Gandolfi-Hornyold, 1st Duke Gandolfi and Maria Teresa Luisa de Cabrera.1 He married Beatrix Purdey Oliver, daughter of Frederick Scott Oliver, on 14 December 1928.2 He died in 1938 at London, England.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Duke Gandolfi in 1937.2
