     Roger Wombwell was born on 31 May 1708.¹ He was the son of John Wombwell and Elizabeth Nottingham.^2,1 He married Mary Chadwick, daughter of Francis Chadwick.¹ He died in 1740, at sea en route to Gibraltar.¹
     He lived at Barnsley, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Mary Chadwick is the daughter of Francis Chadwick.² She married Roger Wombwell, son of John Wombwell and Elizabeth Nottingham.¹
     Her married name became Wombwell.

     Sir George Wombwell, 1st Bt. was baptised on 11 June 1734.¹ He was the son of Roger Wombwell and Mary Chadwick.² He married Susannah Rawlinson, daughter of Sir Thomas Rawlinson and Dorothea Ray, on 4 June 1765.¹ He died on 2 November 1780 at age 46.¹
     He bought back the Wombwell estate.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Huntingdon between 1774 and 1780.¹ He was chairman of the Honourable East India Company.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Wombwell, of Wombwell, co. Yorks [Great Britain] on 26 August 1778.¹

     Sir Thomas Rawlinson married Dorothea Ray, daughter of Reverend Richard Ray.² He died on 3 December 1769.²
     He held the office of Alderman of London in 1746.² He held the office of Sheriff of London and Middlesex in 1748.² He held the office of Lord Mayor of London from 1753 to 1754.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1760.²

     Susannah Rawlinson was the daughter of Sir Thomas Rawlinson and Dorothea Ray.^2,3 She married Sir George Wombwell, 1st Bt., son of Roger Wombwell and Mary Chadwick, on 4 June 1765.¹ She died on 27 September 1816.¹
     From 4 June 1765, her married name became Wombwell.

     Maria Teresa Luisa de Cabrera was the daughter of Ramon de Cabrera, Count de Morella, Marquis del Ter.¹ She married Thomas Charles Gandolfi-Hornyold, 1st Duke Gandolfi, son of John Vincent Gandolfi-Hornyold, 13th Marchese Gandolfi and Charlotte Mary Langdale, on 19 February 1878.² She died in 1918.¹
     From 19 February 1878, her married name became Gandolfi-Hornyold.²

     Alfonso Otto Gandolfi-Hornyold, 2nd Duke Gandolfi was born on 20 June 1879.² He was the son of Thomas Charles Gandolfi-Hornyold, 1st Duke Gandolfi and Maria Teresa Luisa de Cabrera.² He married Francesca di Nerviano, daughter of Count Piero Po di Nerviano, on 8 January 1909.¹ He died on 11 May 1937 at age 57.¹
     He succeeded as the Count of Ricaldoni.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Count of Gazelli. He succeeded as the Count of Chiosanica. He succeeded as the 11th Marquis of Melassi and Montcresente in 1906.¹ He succeeded as the 15th Marchese Gandolfi in 1906. He succeeded as the 2nd Duke Gandolfi in 1906.

     Francesca di Nerviano was the daughter of Count Piero Po di Nerviano.² She married Alfonso Otto Gandolfi-Hornyold, 2nd Duke Gandolfi, son of Thomas Charles Gandolfi-Hornyold, 1st Duke Gandolfi and Maria Teresa Luisa de Cabrera, on 8 January 1909.² She died on 3 May 1967.²

     Henry Walter Wombwell was born on 24 May 1795.¹ He was the son of Sir George Wombwell, 2nd Bt. and Lady Anne Belasyse.² He died on 17 February 1835 at age 39.¹
