Edward Francis John Preston was born on 3 March 1845 at Ireland.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham.¹ He married Anne Genevieve Grimshawe, daughter of Samuel Dominic Grimshawe and Jessie Mary Magdalen Hunter, on 21 January 1891 at The Oratory, South Kensington, London, England.^1,2 He died on 1 March 1901 at age 55.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lancashire Hussars (Yeomanry.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Lancers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Meath.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Meath.¹

     Anne Genevieve Grimshawe was born circa December 1852 at Paris, France.² She was the daughter of Samuel Dominic Grimshawe and Jessie Mary Magdalen Hunter.^1,2 She married Hon. Edward Francis John Preston, son of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham, on 21 January 1891 at The Oratory, South Kensington, London, England.^1,2 She died on 28 January 1929.¹
     Her married name became Preston.

     Samuel Dominic Grimshawe was born in 1809 at Manchester, Lancashire, England.² He married Jessie Mary Magdalen Hunter in June 1849 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He died on 20 April 1883 at Macclesfield, Cheshire, England.²

     Hon. Margaret Frances Agnes Preston was born on 7 July 1838.² She was the daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham.¹ She married Vincent Anthony Eyre on 27 April 1882.¹ She died on 14 June 1884 at age 45 at Brighton, Sussex, England.^1,2
     Her married name became Eyre.

     Vincent Anthony Eyre was born circa 1809 at Hinckley, Leicestershire, England.² He married, firstly, Jane Huddleston in 1842 at Chelsea, London, England.² He married, secondly, Hon. Margaret Frances Agnes Preston, daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham, on 27 April 1882.¹ He died on 22 March 1887.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 5 May 1887.²
     He lived at Lindley Hall, Leicestershire, England^G.¹ His last will was dated 22 June 1883.²

     Hon. Lucretia Pauline Mary Preston was born in 1839. She was the daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham.¹ She married John Arthur Farrell, son of John Farrell, on 19 July 1860.¹ She died on 16 February 1916.¹
     Her married name became Farrell.

     John Arthur Farrell was the son of John Farrell. He married Hon. Lucretia Pauline Mary Preston, daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham, on 19 July 1860.¹ He died on 27 November 1904.¹
     He lived at Moynalty, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Hon. Charlotte Agnes Mary Preston was born in 1841. She was the daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham.¹ She married Colonel Richard Donaldson on 21 June 1870.¹ She died on 18 April 1924.¹
     Her married name became Donaldson.
