     Jean Nisbet was born before 1734.2 She was the daughter of William Nisbet of Dirleton.1 She married Sir Alexander Ogilvy, 7th Lord Banff, son of Alexander Ogilvy, on 2 April 1749 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.3 She died on 29 August 1790 at Forglen, Banffshire, ScotlandG.3
     From 2 April 1749, her married name became Ogilvy.3 After her marriage, Jean Nisbet was styled as Baroness Banff on 2 April 1749.
