     Timothy Allan William Brooks was born on 23 March 1962.¹ He is the son of Christopher John Brooks and Gwendoline Helen Evans.² He married, firstly, Christine Pugh, daughter of Leonard Pugh, in 1986.¹ He married, secondly, Susie Triffitt on 6 June 2002.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 695 Loose Road, Loose, Kent, England^G.¹

     Hon. Herbert William Brooks was born on 1 March 1890.¹ He was the son of William Brooks, 2nd Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Mary Ethel Hicks-Beach.² He married Hilda Muriel Steel, daughter of Allen Gibson Steel, on 12 July 1922.¹ He died on 24 November 1974 at age 84.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was 1st Secretary with the Diplomatic Service.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1926 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire between 1942 and 1957.¹

     Hilda Muriel Steel was the daughter of Allen Gibson Steel.² She married Hon. Herbert William Brooks, son of William Brooks, 2nd Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Mary Ethel Hicks-Beach, on 12 July 1922.¹ She died in 1967.¹
     From 12 July 1922, her married name became Brooks.

     William Brooks, 2nd Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw was born on 16 October 1853.¹ He was the son of Thomas Brooks, 1st Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Catherine Jones.² He married Mary Ethel Hicks-Beach, daughter of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt. and Harriett Vittoria Stratton, on 12 October 1882.¹ He died on 19 January 1929 at age 75.¹
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw, co. Lancaster and of Whatton, co. Leicester [U.K., 1892] on 5 February 1908.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brooks [U.K., 1891] on 5 February 1908.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 5th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment.¹

     Mary Ethel Hicks-Beach was born circa 1853 at Beverstonecast, Beverstone, Gloucestershire, England.² She was the daughter of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt. and Harriett Vittoria Stratton.³ She married William Brooks, 2nd Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw, son of Thomas Brooks, 1st Baron Crawshaw of Crawshaw and Catherine Jones, on 12 October 1882.¹ She died on 1 October 1914 at Lancashire, England.^1,2
     From 12 October 1882, her married name became Brooks. After her marriage, Mary Ethel Hicks-Beach was styled as Baroness Crawshaw of Crawshaw on 5 February 1908.

     Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt. was born on 25 October 1809 at Netheravon House, Wiltshire, England.² He was the son of Michael Hicks-Beach and Caroline Jane Mount.² He married Harriett Vittoria Stratton, daughter of John Stratton and Frances Maria Jodrell, on 14 August 1832.³ He died on 22 November 1854 at age 45.³
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hicks, of Beverston Castle, co. Gloucester [E., 1619] on 23 October 1834.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1840.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Gloucester in 1854.³

     Harriett Vittoria Stratton was born on 21 June 1813 at Farthinghoe Lodge, Farthinghoe, Brackley, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of John Stratton and Frances Maria Jodrell.¹ She married Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt., son of Michael Hicks-Beach and Caroline Jane Mount, on 14 August 1832.² She died on 20 January 1900 at age 86 at Penllergare, Llangyfelach, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.¹
     Her married name became Hicks-Beach.
