     Hon. Ann Fremantle was born on 21 October 1930.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe and Lady Elizabeth Harris.¹ She married Sir Timothy Gerald Martin Brooks, son of Hon. Herbert William Brooks and Hilda Muriel Steel, on 29 November 1951.¹
     From 29 November 1951, her married name became Brooks.¹ She was Lay Canon of Leicester Cathedral in 1984.¹ She lived in 2003 at Wistow, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Sir Timothy Gerald Martin Brooks was born on 20 March 1929.¹ He was the son of Hon. Herbert William Brooks and Hilda Muriel Steel.² He married Hon. Ann Fremantle, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe and Lady Elizabeth Harris, on 29 November 1951.² He died on 2 May 2014 at age 85.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G, in 1951 with a National Diploma in Agriculture (N.D.A.¹ ) He was a farmer.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire in 1960.¹ He was director of Thomas Tapling and Company Ltd.¹ He was director of Wistow Hall Gardens Ltd.¹ He held the office of Member of the Harborough District Council between 1975 and 1984.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1979.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire between 1984 and 1989.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire between 1989 and 2003.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1991.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (Litt.D.) by De Montfort University^G in 1997.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (Litt.D.) by Loughborough University of Technology, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England^G, in 1997.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (Litt.D.) by Leicester University, Leicester, Leicestershire, England^G, in 2002.¹ He lived in 2003 at Wistow Hall, near Great Glen, Leicester, Leicestershire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 2003.¹

     Hon. Edward Walgrave Fremantle was born on 18 June 1961.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. John Walgrave Halford Fremantle, 4th Baron Cottesloe and Gloria Jean Irene Dunn.¹ He married Sara E. Chillingworth, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Harry Chillingworth, in 1991.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 4 Merivale Road, Putney, London, England^G.¹

     She was given the name of Cecilia Jane Fremantle at birth.¹ In 1977 her name was legally changed to Elizabeth Cecilia Jane Fremantle.¹ She was a journalist.¹ From 21 December 1991, her married name became Haguenauer.
