     Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon was born on 23 October 1924.¹ He was the son of Robert Henry Boyle, 8th Earl of Shannon and Marjorie Walker.² He married, firstly, Donna Catherine Irene Helen Imperiali di Francavilla, daughter of Demetrio Imperiali, Marchese di Francaville and Dorothy Kate Ramsden, on 17 September 1947.¹ He and Donna Catherine Irene Helen Imperiali di Francavilla were divorced in 1955.¹ He married, secondly, Susan Margaret Rogers Hogg, daughter of John Percy Russell Hogg and Elizabeth Susan Kidd, on 25 May 1957.¹ He and Susan Margaret Rogers Hogg were divorced in 1979.¹ He married, thirdly, Almine de Villiers, daughter of Rocco Catorsia de Villiers, in 1994.¹ He died on 9 May 2013 at age 88.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.¹ He was chairman and managing director of J Starkie Gardner Ltd between 1960 and 1969.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Shannon [I., 1756] on 29 December 1963.² He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Boyle of Bandon, co. Cork [I., 1756] on 29 December 1963.² He succeeded as the 8th Baron Carleton, of Carleton, co. York [G.B., 1786] on 29 December 1963.² He succeeded as the 9th Baron of Castle Martyr, co. Cork [I., 1756] on 29 December 1963.² He was chairman of the Foundation for Science and Technology between 1977 and 1983.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Management (F.I.Mgt.)¹

     Donna Catherine Irene Helen Imperiali di Francavilla was born on 29 May 1926.¹ She was the daughter of Demetrio Imperiali, Marchese di Francaville and Dorothy Kate Ramsden.² She married, secondly, Greville Baylis.¹ She married, firstly, Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon, son of Robert Henry Boyle, 8th Earl of Shannon and Marjorie Walker, on 17 September 1947.³ She and Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon were divorced in 1955.³ She married, thirdly, Sir Peter Saunders in 1979.¹ She died on 20 March 2018 at age 91.¹
     Her married name became Baylis.¹ She was a broadcaster.³ Her married name became Boyle. From 1979, her married name became Saunders.¹

     Susan Margaret Rogers Hogg was born circa 1930.¹ She was the daughter of John Percy Russell Hogg and Elizabeth Susan Kidd.² She married Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon, son of Robert Henry Boyle, 8th Earl of Shannon and Marjorie Walker, on 25 May 1957.³ She and Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon were divorced in 1979.³ She died on 15 December 2011.¹
     Her married name became Boyle. After her marriage, Susan Margaret Rogers Hogg was styled as Countess of Shannon on 29 December 1963.

     John Percy Russell Hogg married Elizabeth Susan Kidd, daughter of Henry Kidd and Lady Mary Kerr.¹

     Richard Henry John Boyle, 10th Earl of Shannon was born on 19 January 1960.¹ He is the son of Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon and Susan Margaret Rogers Hogg.¹
     He was styled as Viscount Boyle between 1963 and 2013. He lived in 2003 at Edington House, Bridgwater, Somerset, England.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Carleton, of Carleton, co. York [G.B., 1786] on 9 May 2013. He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Shannon [I., 1756] on 9 May 2013. He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Castle Martyr, co. Cork on 9 May 2013. He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Boyle of Bandon, co. Cork [I., 1756] on 9 May 2013.

     Lady Georgina Susan Boyle was born on 7 February 1961.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Bentinck Boyle, 9th Earl of Shannon and Susan Margaret Rogers Hogg.¹

     Lady Helen Boyle was born on 24 September 1898.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Henry Boyle, 6th Earl of Shannon and Nellie Thompson.¹ She married Major Cyril Bouchier Barlow, son of Brig.-Gen. John Arthur Barlow, on 20 September 1922.¹ She and Major Cyril Bouchier Barlow were divorced in 1933.¹
     Her married name became Barlow.

     Major Cyril Bouchier Barlow is the son of Brig.-Gen. John Arthur Barlow.¹ He married Lady Helen Boyle, daughter of Richard Henry Boyle, 6th Earl of Shannon and Nellie Thompson, on 20 September 1922.¹ He and Lady Helen Boyle were divorced in 1933.¹
