Philippa Patricia Lennox-Boyd was born on 12 March 1970.¹ She is the daughter of Simon Donald Rupert Neville Lennox-Boyd, 2nd Viscount Boyd of Merton and Alice Mary Clive.¹ She married Patrick Nathaniel George Spens, 4th Baron Spens, son of Patrick Michael Rex Spens, 3rd Baron Spens and Barbara Janet Lindsay Fisher, in 1998.²
     She was educated at St. Mary’s Calne, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ From 1998, her married name became Spens.¹ After her marriage, Hon. Philippa Patricia Lennox-Boyd was styled as Baroness Spens on 5 January 2001. She lived in 2003 at 33A Pembroke Road, London, England^G.¹

     Patrick Nathaniel George Spens, 4th Baron Spens was born on 14 October 1968.² He is the son of Patrick Michael Rex Spens, 3rd Baron Spens and Barbara Janet Lindsay Fisher.² He married Hon. Philippa Patricia Lennox-Boyd, daughter of Simon Donald Rupert Neville Lennox-Boyd, 2nd Viscount Boyd of Merton and Alice Mary Clive, in 1998.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.² He was director of Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in 1999.² He held the position of Chief of the Name and Arms of Spens from in 2001.² He succeeded as the 4th Baron Spens, of Blairnsanquhar, co. Fife [U.K., 1959] on 5 January 2001.² He lived in 2003 at 33a Pembroke Road, London, England.²

     Reverend William Boyd was born in 1658.¹ He married, firstly, Isobel Anderson on 11 March 1691.¹ He married, secondly, Jean Maxwell, daughter of unknown Maxwell, on 26 November 1701.¹ He died on 13 April 1741.¹
     He was educated at University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was ordained in 1690 Church of Scotland.¹ He was the Minister in 1690 at Dalry, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Isobel Anderson married Reverend William Boyd on 11 March 1691.¹
     From 11 March 1691, her married name became Boyd.¹

     William Boyd was baptised on 2 December 1694.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Boyd and Isobel Anderson.¹

     Reverend Andrew Boyd was baptised on 28 December 1697.² He was the son of Reverend William Boyd and Isobel Anderson.¹ He married Margaret Boyd, daughter of Walter Boyd, on 3 November 1720.² He died on 16 April 1761 at age 63.²
     He graduated from University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Minister in 1726 at Tynholm, Scotland^G.²

     John Boyd was born on 4 February 1700.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Boyd and Isobel Anderson.¹ He died before September 1773.¹
     He was also known as Jonas.¹ He was a mercer at London, England^G.¹

     Jean Maxwell is the daughter of unknown Maxwell.¹ She married, firstly, Reverend John Sinclair before 1701.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend William Boyd on 26 November 1701.¹
     From before 1701, her married name became Sinclair.¹ From 26 November 1701, her married name became Boyd.¹

     Reverend John Sinclair married Jean Maxwell, daughter of unknown Maxwell, before 1701.¹ He died before 1701.¹
